Fast 1500 --At left, from left-to-right: Jamaican Mardrea Hyman (4th - 4:06.360), Meskerem Legesse of Ethiopia (3rd - 4:0396), Lena Nilsson of Sweden (5th - 4:07.69), Slovenian Jolanda Ceplak (1st - 4:02.44), and Suzy Favor-Hamilton (2nd - 4:03.47). Favor-Hamilton controlled most of the race, until she was run down by Ceplak on the final turn.
men's 5000 -- Abraham Chebii (l) dusted the field with a 51.9 last lap to win in 13:08.10. Benjamin Limo was second in 13:11.67.
Limo and Shadrack Kosgei (l) were near the front throughout, while Bob Kennedy continued his comeback. The US record holder was tenth in 13:44.25.
Ethiopian teenager Markos Geneti (#43) was fourth in 13:13.27, and at right, Shadrack Kosgei, who finished third (13:12.24).
800 -- No surprises here as Maria Mutola (l) won yet again in Eugene with a world-leading 1:57.98. Tanya Blake (#5) was fourth in 1:59.56.
Sasha Spencer (l) was fifth in 2:01.56 while former NCAA champ and Sydney finalist Brigita Langerholc of Slovenia was eighth in 2:02.18.
400 winners -- A now typical scene for Ana Guevara (l), after her 49.34 opener. World indoor champion Tyree Washington scored an each 44.70 win over a loaded field.
Fast hurdling -- Brigitte Foster (l) is all smiles after lowering her own Jamaican record to 12.45, while Miesha McKelvy was left speechless after a PR 12.51 to finish second.
Not happy -- World 400m hurdle champion wasn't too pleased with his 45.96 in the flat 400. He finished a distant seventh.
For the second straight week, Kevin Sullivan (l) finished runner-up to Bernard Lagat. This time, the Canadian Olympian clocked 3:53.34. In his first race since early April, Shawn Crawford was seventh in the 100 in 10.24.
